Daniel Flanagan
Originally from Crossgar, Daniel graduated from the University of Manchester in 2014 before going on to become a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (MFDS RCSP) in 2016.
Daniel has been providing quality care to patients of Mullan Gallagher since 2017 and has over 10 years’ experience in providing high quality general and cosmetic dentistry.
He constantly enhances his dental skills and knowledge through postgraduate courses completing a one year post graduate certificate in Restorative Dentistry through the prestigious Tipton Training academy in 2018 and becoming an Invisalign certified provider in 2019.
Daniel enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and has a keen interest in cosmetic smile makeovers, he has undertaken further post graduate courses in composite bonding and cosmetically focused orthodontics. Daniel applies the Align Bleach Bond (ABB) approach to cosmetic makeovers for his patients, creating beautiful healthy long-lasting smiles whilst preserving natural tooth enamel.
He also enjoys the surgical aspect of dentistry undergoing further training in oral surgery and complex extractions in 2021 and receives referrals for these treatments.
Daniel has the perfect combination of being a familiar face and at the same time having excellent clinical skills, he is dedicated to delivering the highest level of patient care in a welcoming and caring manner.
Outside of dentistry Daniel is married to Áine and in his spare time he enjoys playing golf, running and going to the gym.

For years I wasn’t happy or confident with my smile / teeth. I decided to look into getting Invisalign and I spoke with Daniel about how this could work for me. There was full transparency right from the first appointment, I knew what the cost was going to be and there would be no surprises. Daniel then completed scan of my mouth and within around a week I had a 3D digital model showing how the position of my teeth would move over the full process, this was great that I could see the possible outcome.
Daniel was always at hand if I had any issues throughout and was very responsive to my email queries. After I finished the Invisalign treatment I then had some composite bonding done to tidy up around the edges etc, again – very happy with the results and Daniel was able to make adjustments as I required. Nothing was a bother!
Overall, super happy with my treatment, communication and end result! (5 stars)
