Payment Options
We request that payment be made on the day of the treatment and a deposit left for high value multi-visit treatments. We accept the following methods of payment:
Cash
Cheque (up to the value of guarantee card)
Major Credit / Debit Cards including contactless and mobile payment.
Emergency Dental Care
Emergency Dental Care for registered patients during working hours:
Please telephone the surgery before 11.00am.
Our dedicated emergency time is 12.00pm, patients wishing to avail of this emergency time must telephone the practice before 11.00am so they can be booked.
Patients arriving without an appointment cannot be seen.
Patients telephoning in the afternoon will be accommodated the next day.
Emergency Dental Care for unregistered/new patients
We can accommodate a small number of unregistered patients for emergency treatment each day. Please telephone the practice as early as possible. There will be a deposit of £40.00 charged on arrival, this covers the treatment of most minor dental emergencies however if your problem is more complicated, an additional fee will be charged. Your dentist will discuss this with you first.
Out of Hours Emergency
When the practice is closed during holiday periods or at the weekend our registered patients may attend the relief of dental pain clinic in the City Hospital Belfast.
Please read below for opening times and note the change of times during holiday periods.
It operates at the Dental Out-Patients Department Wing F, Outpatients Department on the Ground Floor of the Belfast City Hospital.
Opening Hours:
Monday to Friday Evening Sessions:
1 session per day – 7.00pm to 10.00pm
Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays:
2 sessions per day – 10.00am to 1.00pm, and 7.00pm to 10.00pm
There will be two dentists providing treatment on all sessions. This will also include a process of triage to ensure the patients who require treatment urgently are seen as a priority, the remaining patients will be seen in order of the time of arrival at the clinic.
Patients should attend as early in a session as possible and bring their medical card. Only emergency or relief of pain treatment will be provided and normal Health Service charges will apply to those who are not exempt. No appointment is required.
