Padraic Conroy

Padraic graduated from Queens University Belfast in 2010 with distinctions gained in the fields of ‘Conservation’, and Practice of Dentistry’. Whilst at Queens he was awarded the Oral Health Promotion prize for his work with blind patients. He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, especially the use of white fillings and materials to help his patients achieve a nicer, brighter smile. He is a keen advocate of the use of Clinical Photography as an adjunct to dental treatment. He is an active member of the British Dental Association, and regularly attends their lectures to keep his knowledge up to date .
In 2016 he passed his examinations for Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery, at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Glasgow. He recently received training on the restoration of dental implants, and works alongside an implant dentist to offer implant solutions for his patients. In June 2017, he is due to begin his training on the use of IV (intravenous) sedation in dentistry which will aid the treatment of patients who find dental treatment particularly stressful. Additionally in April 2017 he is begins training in the use of short term orthodontics, enabling him to provide his patients with straighter teeth, and a more aesthetic smile.
Outside of dentistry, when he is not trying to lower his golf handicap, Padraic enjoys cooking, hillwalking, and spending time with his wife, Karen and their daughter.
